Automatic volume changing is driving me crazy

Whenever I have the window down while driving around 55-65mph, the volume will sporadically change to high pitch instantly. It is giving me headache. MB has that response to noise to deliver the best sound, but I would refer gradual change of volume. I know someone posted the same problem a while back, but I could not find that thread.
Anyway, does anyone know what should I do?
Thanks

It is one of HK logic7 features. I think they built in a mic to measure the noise level and have the volume react the level. That's ok for me if the volume is gradually instead of instantaneously increase

Yes it is with the HK logic 7. and yes it detects via mic . You can even test the mic response in the engineering menu but that wont let you change the sensitivity or migt be you can. I will check it out later.

What is the engineering menu? I have noticed though that when i open my door when the key in the first position & the stereo is on, that the music will fade out & then back in momentarily...

Maybe its not working correctly for some of us? Doesnt appear to be an euro only feature.

To get the autovolume to stop you actually need to take it into the dealership. They hook up the computer to the car and they have to do it through there. If the guy cant figure it out and he says is not possible tell hi mto F himself because it is. The guy I went to spent 20 minutes trying to figure it out, but rest assured it is possible.

I don't mind the auto volume adjustment too much, but I find it insulting when it raises the volume of the music when I start singing... as if its judging me or something :P...
