white and whiter
on some color painted diffuser will look better IMO while on others it'll look better black.

colors that would look good with diffuser painted: palladium silver, steel grey, pewter, barolo red, diamond black

colors that looks better without painted diffuser: whatever the new true red is called, arctic white, black, obsidian black, and silver.
