Both of these questions have been posted in the past. You would get much quicker results by using the "search" feautre in the forums. But to answer the question, no you can't set the DVD to work while driving and would have to purchase a VIM (vehicle in motion) kit from an aftermarket supplier and have it installed. One good one is midcityengineering.com

you folks are hilarious sometimes
that said ... this forum is rather huge ( comparatively ) and despite patience or determination or whatever one has the search engine algorithm is a tad lacking
though i suppose one can trick it into producing more specific results ... just like using the patent office
but i will say ... sometimes, especially for active folks who have written or seen the same thing over and over again, a noob query on the same topic is kinda frustrating
though noobies have to start somewhere right? i've been there ...
