It was pretty easy for me iono about others you gotta know how to run wires and how to take out the headunit depending on where you are gonna mount it. Personally I had to take apart 2 kick panels, the side panel of the passenger seat. and had some cuts from tucking the wire on the exterior

I had a cable operated cutout on my '66 Mustang in the late 70's Mine didn't dump under the car like that but went to a set of straight pipes that exited the rear of the car instead of through the side pipes that I had. It definitly made the car LOUD and seemed to add a bit of HP but that car was already a beast on straight runs.
