Hi

During my first week with my new C 300 Sport 4 matic with Harmon-Kardon Speakers, I noticed a "chirping..cricket noise..intermittently while playing music". I have an ipod integration, so I tried playing music with surround, no surround, with radio, satellite, ipod etc...the cricket noice would come on and then leave.

I was going to bring it to the dealer this week, but I haven't heard the sound in a week...anyone experience the same noise???? Any recommendations? The car is brand new- why would it do this????

First of all, out of curiosity, do you have COMAND?

Second of all, do you have a GSM phone by any chance?

I've seen W203's with interference coming from a GSM phone. Never mind, I've no clue

that's true, a device like blackberry (especially) and iphone nearing the speakers would give off cricket like sound.....

This is true to any speakers....

I noticed intermittent buzzing noises from the front speakers in the same setup you have. I push on the front of the housing and it goes away. Happens maybe once a week. Not sure if this'll help you out or not...
