Actually sounds good surprisingly as almost every cut-out I've ever heard sounded like garbage.

white and whiter
sounds good

but there is indeed that metal rasping sound I don't really like. kinda of like some of the E55s without the secondary cats. did you have the valve before or after the cat?

Any noticeable improvement in acceleration? At least it sounds like you are going faster.

I paid 120 for the cutout but that's because my friend chipped in. But the retail price is 160 plus shipping. Then a flange, gasket, and some bolts 20 dollars from auto part store. Welding it on there was free since I know the guy

Where did you get it from if you don't mind me asking. Also did you have to connect the switch to a power source in order to have it open and close the cutout?

I just have one on a h pipe before the secondary cats since we can't fit 2 on our cars

I tapped a wire from my double din to power it. Since many guys don't have an aftermarket headunit you can' tap the dc power outlet in the glove box

Thx for the tip. Did you get the 2.25 or the 2.5 package? I heard these can make 10-20 hp gains. Plus it's useful cause you can close it when your not in the mood for a loud sound.
