Brake weird sound

My 08 C300 only has 1600 miles, but right now i can sometimes hear a weird noise, pretty harsh, when i am using the brake. Especially when i am in low speed.

Do you guys know what is wrong with my car?? Thx..

Twice ,I have had a small pebble ,1/8 inch in size, stuck between the disc guard & the disc. It was very noisy until removed.,I had to remove the wheel to do so.

I removed the wheel myself , saw the problem with the aid of a torch & simply flicked the little stone out from between the disc guard plate & the disc with a thin screwdriver. Good luck.

That's good that you fixed it...but there is a known issue regarding the parking brake clip. This morning on my way to work I heard this LOUD rubbing noise coming from the left rear wheel. It was 6:15AM and 13 degrees outside, so I didn't do much of an inspection...but there didn't appear to be anything wrong with the tire. I called my dealer and they said to bring it in this afternoon. The guy there is VERY thorough..and checked MB's database and found the following TSB information.

Hopefully it will be helpful to others:

Squeaking/Grinding Noise from Rear Axle Area When Driving Without Brake Application
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of a metal-to-metal squeaking/grinding noise from the area of rear axle when driving without brake application, perform the following.
Note: The cause may be the result of the stator clip that is fitted to stator support of the parking brake shoes. This clip prevents the brake shoes from contacting the aluminum wheel carrier. If the clip is installed incorrectly, it can move from the stator towards the brake disc and make contact. Witness marks can generally be seen on the stator clip when contact is present.
Replace the clip and slide it on only far enough so that the side tabs ( are flush with the stator towards the brake disc
