GPS Has Wrong Position

So last week, I noticed that the position on my GPS was wrong. I was on a major road, and it showed me driving in a forest with no roads. I looked for a while to somehow reset it, but no luck. I took it into the dealer. Not sure if the guy knew what the deal was, but either way they were able to reset it somehow and it had the right position. That was Saturday.

I got in my car to go back home tonight, and it happened again. It's close to where I am regionally, but no where near the right road. Anyone else experience this? Am I going to have to go back to the dealer again?? I'm an accountant so from now until April, I don't have time to bring it in....

How many satellites does it see? Perhaps an intermittent connection problem at the antenna cable/connector or a faulty antenna?

Hey Angelo, yeah I'm zoomed in all the way, and there was an instance where i was on a major road and it says I'm in a forest. I mean it turns when I turn, it's just in the wrong place.

Diesel - How do I know how many satellites I have going? I have bluetooth always hooked up so on the top right I always see the 5 bar things...

I don't have the manual for the W204 Comand, you would have to browse the menus to find the option to display the number of satellites the unit can see. Usually comes with GEO-coordinates.

Perhaps another W204 owner can help?

I have been through all my menu's but haven't seen anywhere to activate to view how many satellites I'm using.
