50%? Might as well not get your windows tinted at all. I think most tint shops start at 35% and go down from there.

If your looking at picture of tint, they are very deceptive. Especially the ones i've seen on this forum. The way the camera picks up the light behind the window or doesn't pick up the light changes how it looks in the picture. It best to look at the tints in person.

You know, that is VERY true! I have seen tints, dark and light, that look very different. I was just trying to get an idea of what they look like, but I guess thats not much of an idea.

I've had 35%, 20%, and now I have 5% on the Merc. From my experience here are the differences:

35% - From the outside, you can still see the person inside pretty well.
20% - From the outside, you can see the person, but not in detail. If you were to give them the bird, they could still see the outline of your hand & finger.
5% - From the outside, you can barely see an outline of a figure. Give them the bird, and they will most likely not see it.

C 350 Obsidian Black
I have 50% all around and like it. Obsidian Black exterior / Black interior. If I had Gray Interior I would have gone with 35%. I am in Central NJ if you would like to see. Also recommend the place I had it done at. Let me know.
