Can't get a grip
Ok, I'm the guy who had trouble telling leather from plastic, so I hesitate to bring this issue up, 'cause I might be missing something here too, but here's what the issue is this time: most of the time when I reach for the seatbelt hanging there, it won't pull. It's frozen there like I'm leaning into it or something. I'm not pulling too hard, and as far as I know it's not at some weird angle, but I'm a little guy, 5 eight and some change, so maybe that has something to do with it. Has anybody else had this happen, and do you have a trick or workaround. I don't want to sit there trying to talk the belt into relaxing while people stare

It sounds like the inertia recoil catch is really over sensative or maybe there is something even more dangerous going on. I would have it repaired ASAP as you can't be sure it will even work when needed.
