Upgrading Comand Navigation
I upgraded my Comand Navigation software yesterday and into today and before I admit to how it went, has anyone else done this? Not had it done, but did it themselves using the $249 2-disc package.

I updated my Navi in November and saw no difference it took a little over three hours. The backup cam is affected with the command update, you just have to reactivate it in the engineering menu.

One way to check OS update is audio fade option appear after update. Also update DVD contains LOADING.KWI file. Can you check if you can find this file. This file is good for VIM mod.

2 disks, may be it includes OS update. One disk we used only update nav data to 07Q2 and Gracenote database.
One way to check OS update is audio fade option appear after update. Also update DVD contains LOADING.KWI file. Can you check if you can find this file. This file is good for VIM mod.

The audio fade was part of the Telematics update (warranty) I had done months ago.
