Just curious, can we get designo for W204?

 

What is it??

 

Designo is a special appearance package that offers special order paint and interior color combinations. It is a rather exclusive and pricey option.

Unfortunely I don't think it will be offered on the W204, as MB never offered this option on the C-class in the past. They are mostly offered on the launch editions of more expensive models.

My favorite is the Java Black paint which is a very dark brown metallic (almost black), with the two tone saddle brown and black interior, which I've seen on the S-class.
The other designo color combination I like is the Obsidian Black exterior with the two tone Porcelain White (very white) and black interior.

If MB ever offered the Designo package for the C I would like to see the Cognac leather interior which we don't get state side, with Java black.

Do a "Mercedes Designo" search on eBay Motors and you will see what some of these color combinations look like.

I'm in the Philippines and you can order Designo for the W204 here. It's a special order though.

 

never heard about this when gettin tha C300 in Toronto Canada...

Over here (Europe) Designo nappa leather is a standard option in the price lists.

Nothing else though, i.e. no interior trim or exterior colours like for example BMW offers with Individual on their 3-series.

 

we should be getting the option in March up here in canada, well that's what the dealership in markham said. wish i waited, all good though.

There is one more Designo option in Europe. Its a black fabric ceiling which is not standard in Europe, except for AMG package. They use to make it light grey, like in luxury version in USA.
I know it, couse I ordered it and they told me, that it will take them 6-8 weeks longer to make my car couse of this , they got to attach it in another factory. Anyway, I still hope, that it will be faster than that

 

Designo has some very cool color combination's, but if memory serves me right it was a $10k option on S class models. $10k added to a C class would just be ridiculous. The only C class that you might have a chance with would be the C63 since its sent to AMG and they do special order paint there.

 

It is/was about 12-13k on the S class, 8k on the E/CLS class, and 6k on the CLK. Were it to be offered, it would probably be 4500-5000 on the C class. It would be a nice package for those who want a small sedan but do not want to compromise on luxury.

I'm with AOWHAUS. I spotted the designo saddle brown black interior on the net and have to say that colour combo was beautiful. Its the classic combo. once Unbelievable.

I just ordered a c estate with the split sahara beige / black interior which is available in this country for the avantgarde (which i think is your sport). Thats as close as my wallet will go to the saddle/black combo. I did have the option of the cognac and actually have seen that interior on a few cars but I wasnt game to get it myself (i must be more of a brady bunch type of guy). Having said that it does liven the rather austere interior up a bit and with the black birds eye maple well it did look good.

the porcelain white / black interior would be something special on a c63 and just thinking about it i reckon it would pretty much go with any exterior color.
