the thing is, until someone actually posts a halogen project producing a decent light output with an HID kit, I would just assume that they don't want to admit it to the rest of the board... so, these darkspots might not be an isolated case?

Running 6k 55watt HIDs with the noticeable darkspot as well.
Funny thing is when i had 35watt HIDs in, the darkspots was not noticeable.
