Slamming noise behind the dash.
I know this has been discussed but my search pulled up nothing usefull. Does anyone else have a slamming sound coming from behind the dash when the heat is on? I seem to remember last year around this time reading about it and someone said a tech bulletin was issued something about a spring being to tight or short. Anyone else remember this and know the bulletin number my SA says there isn't one and the noise is driving my crazy (I know short drive).

Does the slamming happen from acceleration/deceleration, bumpy conditions, the fan speed changing, the temperature setting changing or just whenever it wants to??

I'm having the same problem. Usually happens when coming to a stop...sometimes even a few seconds after the car has completely stopped. I always have the climate control on AUTO.
