Automatic wipers...

A little drizzle sets them off...

1. Is there a way I can manually shut them on and off (and perhaps adjust speed)?

I haven't actually bought the car yet, but I went for a test drive, and am decided on buying it. (salesman wasnt there with me, he just gave me the keys :P, so i couldn't ask about the wipers)

2. Should I go with grey interior trim, or black? (the grey trim has the black dashboard). I like brighter colours, so I would want grey, but then I think the chrome would blend in. I'm a fan of glitzy chrome, so what should i choose? Does the grey interior actually take away from the chrome?

Sorry for all the questions, had a lot of them building up :P

I numbered them so you can answer more easily.

Here's my car in waiting:
BTW I'm in canada.
C350, Premium Package (Canadian PP has pretty much everything, other than ipod integration and teleaid)

The dealer has it in either grey or black interior. The exteriors of both are white, and I love this car in white, so it doesn't matter.

Wiper positions are either off, Intermittent low rain sensitivity, intermintent high rain sensitivity, continuous high. no way to disable rain sensitivity other than turning wipers off completely.

A little drizzle does seem to set turn them on more often than not, but I've usually just turned them off then just do it manually as needed.

I opted for the all black interior. No regrets. But it really comes down to personal preference. With the '09 models, do you have more color choices up there?

Please correct me if I'm wrong. I thought only position 1 was rain sensitivity. Position 2 is just on, but it slows down when you come to a stop and speeds up when you start moving. Like I said, could be wrong, just wondering.

Rainsensors...; probably the crappiest feature of the car.
