I came really really close to wrapping the interior in that CF fabric. Was only going to be a couple hundred for material and service, but just ran out of time this trip. haha. I'll do it after I move back to socal

Love the mods! The grille and engine cover looks awesome!!!!!
What type of vinyl did you use to wrap the chrome trim and where can I buy it? Do you have any pictures of the edges so I can see how you wrapped it?
Thanks
Rich

Yeah, the white is color matched to the body. Devil's in the details

That chrome trim being wrapped is awesome!! Thats exactly the look I want for my car! My old 540i came with black trim on its sport package. I need to find someone to do it for me.

I found a site that has .25mm thick CF. Holding a sample in place you can't see the edge against a black grill. I take it you have a pattern on file for the laser cutter any chance you can make me a paper template it would save me a bit of work. Also on the chrome slats and star did they just paint over the chrome or was some prep done, it almost looks like black chrome. Love it.

same for slats. primer and throw on a couple coats of flat black, remember your gonna hit rocks, so the more coats the better. I painted my grille about 6 months ago and i only have one chip on the star, but i didnt put a lot of work onto painting the star.

Oh well time to break out the masking tape and make my own then. No big deal. And with the carbon being shiney I might just do the slats in a satin or flat finish, maybe just use blackout tape like I did on the window chrome.
