Will 22s be possible?

Just wondering will it be possible to fit 22s lowered with rolled fenders? And will it look right?

No it won't look right. The only 2 Benz cars that can handle 22's are the Sclass and CL.

Yea probably those and the GL.
22's are very big, IMO the ideal size is 19's...and 20's if you really looking for the big rims look...just my 2 cents...lol

Did some calculating. Looking at "equivalent sizes" for the front wheel, I get the following (tire size, diameter):
P225/45R17 24.97
P225/40R18 25.09
P225/35R19 25.2
P225/30R20 25.31
P225/25R21 25.43
P225/20R22 25.54
P225/15/R22 24.66

Checked TireRack.com and they don't offer a 22 in those sizes. I doubt anyone does, but there's a rumor that a custom/show vette had this size on it.

Whether you raise the car or not, putting on tires that are made for that wheel will seriously increase tire diameter, throwing your odometer and speedometer way off. Even the 225/20R22 is going to do that.

Also, the ride will be so rough that the only smooth place you'll find is riding the rails on train tracks

22 would look great on a ML. i think 22 is toooo much for w204.
No offence or nothing, but i think you would have ALOT of issues and prep you need.

fender roll. suspension problem, hard ride, rub when turning, ect

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Too many issues and have already been addressed. As jstaneff pointed out, the only tires that wouldn't have an impact on the speedo and gearing is225/15/R22 = 24.66". But man those wheels would be heavy and your brakes would look funny behind them. Kind of like Unique Autosport cars when they are "rimped up."

so your a newbie with an e55, asking if 22s would fit a c class??
whats the poiint of asking then? why not ask if it would fit on a e55 instead?

btw, you can always try Tirerack and see how 22 looks on a c class if you really want to find out (not sure if they even have 22s for display tho)
