You took yours apart and painted the inside?

I never heard of spraying them on the inside, nor do i understand how that would work? You sure they painted them on the inside? Did you see them do it?


Anyway, its not that hard to spray tint the tail lights yourself. And if you dont want it anymore its not hard to remove the spray. Just sand and buff away the paint.

yes, it was painted from the inside. It lasts much longer as it's not exposed to the elements and can't get scratched up.

Does lamin-x have ones that cover the red part only? Would it be hard to pt on since the side of the tail lights have all those holes around them?

You can always cut out any piece you don't like with a box cutter?

 

I've been searching this forum up and down.
Can anyone link me to a how-to for tinting my tail lights?
I'm leaning towards painting, but might be changing mind after reading that it needs to be done on the inside of the lens?

Did my '93 Accord tail lights from the inside with at the time a spray tint. not seen the tint in a spray can since then.
