Flying Rats!
I live near a river and have to wash my C almost every single day because of the no good seabirds crapping all over my car, sometimes I wish I could just shoot them with my air gun, or even better shoot the people feeding them.
And the strange part is that they only drop their blessings on my car and almost all other cars parked in the vicinity of my residence is safe.
I tried switching places with my wife (she has a new Ford Fiesta) to no avail, almost as if they have mission just to ruin my paint.
Do you people have a special tip or tactic to avoid the flying rats.

Maybe they just have really good taste.
Is your space under a phone/power line? I know it seems like your car bears the brunt of the attack but are your sure you are objective? Otherwise, maybe it's the color...more appealing to them?
BTW- Since you have a new Fiesta, where are you located?

I really hate pigeons... I love all animals, especially dogs, but I really see no use for these rats with wings... They contribute nothing besides **** all over the place and spread disease (http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/epi/epi-pigeon.shtml)

I reside in the Netherands.
I wish I could get the following option on my car.

Come to think of it they are not that useless. They are here to make life difficult for us and help carwash owners make extra money.

Alka-Seltzer wrapped in bread. Seagulls eat the food can't fart and explode. Don't know if this is true or a seaside urban myth but that was what I was told as a youngster by a bayman many years ago.

Here's a copy of a letter to the manufacturers of Alka-Seltzer.

Flying rats they are. When I was younger I took pride in getting rid of these guys with a pretty nifty custom air rifle.
Gone are the days.. I seem to have mellowed out and now enjoy everything nature, including these doo doo machines.
Regards,
Paolo

I had to pull down a bird nest from my carport yesterday. There seems to be only two good places for them to build...one directly over my hood and one over my trunk lid...ugghhh... Acutally 4 places but who cares about the Audi's paint...
