Just bought a 2008 C300 Sport 4Matic, P1, White/Grey a week ago. It was a dealer service loaner with 9K miles which they CPO'd for me, so I still has 4 years of warranty.
Switched from a 2000 BMW 528i sport/premium which I just sold myself in a week for $2,500 more than the offered trade-in value. Pretty happy with that!
Getting free new rear brake pads this week thanks to finding out about the pre-6/2008 production brake squeal/excessive brake dust issue. It is still within the first 12 months or 12,000 miles. Dealer service manager said they hadn't seen much of a problem but readily scheduled it for me.
Really enjoying the car so far. Love everything about it, including the free car wash at the dealer today!
Peace- CinciTom

Congrats and welcome to mbworld!
Thanks for the heads up on the pre6/08 rear brake dust issue. I wasn't aware there was anything official regarding this, but I've always noticed my rear wheels get dirty instantly while my front ones stay clean for days or longer. I've never noticed rear wheels getting dirty faster than the fronts before. I'll have to inquire with my server adviser. Thanks!
