Have your car checked out. If it is SA build there is a good chance that the wiring harness will cater for the paddle shifters.

How nice would that be, add paddle shifters to US cars for under $130! ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
It would even be worth taking the time to hack them into our existing triptronic controls, but not if it voids the warranty.
You'd think if it was feasible MBUSA would offer it as an upgrade. Why not try and get more $$$ from every C300/C350 owner here in the states?

Behind the Steering Air Bag Cover, there are 2 female connectors ready for the paddle shifters' connectors to plug in. It is plug and play. BUT ONLY QUALIFIED MB MACHANICS SHOULD DO THIS FOR YOU.

If you search this forum for paddle shifters, there are numerous conversation regarding them.
Also, if you look on ebay at other sellers of these or sellers of C63 steering wheels, many of them say up front that they are NOT plug-n-play for US cars.

^^^^ +1.....there is a good thread on this forum of someone who took off the steering wheel to take a look. I believe there was some input from a MB mechanic too and how it will void your warranty on any related parts including electronics and the transmission.
