Why does the top right of the star mesh have a hole in it?

The grille came to us with no star, the size and shape of the star/hole was the same with another grille we sell so we added the mesh/star of that...

It's only a prototype to see how it fits, the final version will have the proper star

Is it me or does the fitting look wrong at the top of the grille? It doesn't follow the contour of the hood well...?

Agree. On a black car, I don't think its that noticeable.

If the grille was changed so it fits better I see a fair few people buying it. From reading around I recall there being a few people looking for a black grille with the silver star. CF would be even better. That way you can have the grille/lip/diffuser/spoiler as a CF set which would look good on a black car IMO.

Guys in all honesty, I don't remember a gap between the grille and the hood. I think the photo make it look like there's a gap because of the grille and the car. It was also really sunny when he took the pictures.

Anyway, if woedee can post some better pictures I'm sure we'll be able to tell.

If there is a problem, we'll definitely take care of it before stocking them

The jury is still out on the alleged gap between the hood/grille; I will post pics @ different angles soon. IMO this grille gives the vehicle a more 'aggressive' look - I'm enjoying it.

Oh I forgot to mention that the grille came with 'magic markers' that disappear every so often j/k Its funny you pointed this out as I also barely noticed that pic today....apparently somebodys been photochoppin'

Haha, I 'chopped the first two pictures cause that amber really caught my eye. I'm surprised it took so long to notice.

woedee, your next mod should definitely be getting rid of the amber.

lol..Totally agree & done. I installed clear markers a couple days after that pic was taken ( & stealthed my own bulbs with hi-temp paint)

That gap at the top is huge. Is the hood not fully latched? The gap between the bumper cover and the hood looks larger than normal.
