Best place to tint in Toronto?

Any recommendations on a place to do window tints in Toronto? What was the price paid and product used?

Thanks in advance.

yea man get involved in that group buy if you're goin there...

i'm probably heading to http://www.detailingshop.ca/

they are in newmarket... the pinnacle tints (best ones) are gonna run me $375...

it's about $100 more than FX but they seem to do really good work and use high quality tint.

My friend used Detailing Shop for his last few cars and is really happy with them. But he seemed pissed about the price jump and indifferent attitude. Maybe we can do a group buy for Detailing Shop. What do you think?

Pm'd...

but yea i don't know how cool they are with large group buys... and i don't think the discount will be too much... sadly they seem like the type of shop where u either pay the price... or you get it tinted elsewhere.

Got mine done at http://www.ejautotinting.com/. Cost was 275.00 CAD for Llumar film charcoal with lifetime warranty against fade and bubbling. These guys do many dealers including Lexus, Audi, and Mazda among others. They do other tint as well with 3 yr warranty (225.00) and also have mettalic and ceramic for a little more.

When I ask my dealer who does not the tints, they told me they have a guy that comes in to do it...a mobile. They wouldn't give his contact info. The place I went to to get my tints also does dealers. The dealer pays a little less than retail price but the guy who did my tints told that they use the cheaper film that only carries a 3 yr warranty for dealer work because they get less money but the dealer charges 500-600 for tints.

sorry to bring up this old topic.
Just got a new MB lease, dealer told me when I return the car after lease I have to remove the tint myself.

My question is
(1) do they really picky about this rule of removing the tint?
(2) is it difficult to remove myself (I heard it could damage the "wire" in the rear window if I use Pinnacle tint)
(3) how much would it cost to remove by professional

Thanks in advance for your help.

P.

As long as the tint job is good and not darker than 35%, you will not have to remove it. MB Financial isn't that ****.

If I have 35% in the front side windows, and a 25% at the back, with a good tint job, do you think MB Financial be okay. BTW mine is a black car to start with.
