Rims

What do you guys think of these rims?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GA-17...Q5fAccessories
I have a black 2008 C300. You think these would look good on it? If so where could I find MB center caps?

Thanks in advance.

They look great but won't fit. The offset is too low.Should be a minimum of 40mm.
Sorry

Is 40 mm the perfect off set? Also if I did go with 19", what impact does that have on the suspension since I would have to get thinner tires?

Thanks for all your replies.

To each his own I think the 5 twin spoke 18 amg's are perfect for this car... but your wheels look good.

Since these won't fit, I'll probably go with the AMG's then. I do agree with you they look nice. Thanks again for the replies.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
I like 'em, but I think the W204 is angular for that style of wheel. And thos who said the offset is wrong, are correct. They won't work.

I've been waiting for a good set of rims too...... i was thinking HRE but then i found these.....

let me know what you think, i personally like them better than the HRE's.

I plan on calling them today to find if they will fit my car. They are 19's but gotta research the offset and stuff, I'll let you know how it turns out and how much...... what's your take, have you heard of VMR and if so how's the reliability of the rims/company?

VMR are made by Velocity who make reps, but they're one of the better replica wheel manufacturers out there. You're not going to get super high quality and durability obviously, but for those on a budget and looking for design styles of high end wheel brands, it's a good choice.

These are VMR V710 (BMW E46 M3 CSL rep) and they are made to fit on BMW E46 or E90 only. They won't fit in our cars, the offset is too low. Here is the spec and color available (same on 19"),

18x9.5 ET22 Hyper Silver / Matte Black / Gunmetal

Here are a few that are relatively similar. Most come custom powercoated to whatever color you want, or you can always take them to get powercoated yourself.

Work Meister S1

IForged Avus

IForged Astra

HRE 545

DPE ST-5

KINESIS K59R

Vellano VSK

and yes as for VMR they said that the center bore is too small. like 55.7 where we have a 66.6 bore or something like that (TBH when he said they wont fit i kinda stopped paying attention) He also said that Merx also are longer for some reason. what do you guys suggest for a 19???

That's right. Also forgot to mention, those bolt patterns are 120 (for BMW), while Mercedes and Audi are 112.
