That's because it isn't in the tire well but is located behind the little fuzzy trap door on the left trunk wall. And as a first aid kit, it's pitiful.

OK, my friend went back to the dealer and got a new first-aid kit from his sales...
Apprantly, he got one that's dealer inventory and all the accessories like cig lighter, cig tray, floor matts, manual & first-aid kit were stored in seperate room to prevent theft..
Somehow the first-aid kit was missing from the bag of accessories he got and the dealer replaced the kit w/o any problem..all is good..

wow i didnt know there was a mesh area for non p2 owners. i got screwed. i want a mesh area. (are you guys talking about the net that is similar to the one in the passenger footwell?)

Yeah, the mesh is similar to the one by the passenger footwell but with more space, that's where I used to put the owners manual before moved it together w/ 1st aid kit by the spar tire...
