I Still Cant Figure Out the Locking System

I guess i can put more effort into finding the answer for myself, but ive noticed a few observations regarding the automatic unlocking after engine shut off

Sometmes, after turning off the engine, I open my driver's side door and all four doors unlock right there. Sometimes, i open my door and only my door unlocks. i thought this had to do with the weight sensor on the passenger seat but i cant find a pattern.

anyone know why/when one of the other happens?

all the doors unlock, once I turn off the engine and open the drivers side door, the power to the interior shuts down as well, and the MM screen closes

each and every time, has never done anything different

Edit - I don't have a key, I have the keyless go, so when I stop, put it in park, push the button in the dash, this turns the car off, but the MM will stay on, until I open the door, it will then shut off and close, and all the doors unlock.

I have it so that when I push the button on the remote, it unlocks all the doors

do you have your key set up to unlock only the drivers door and fuel door with the first push?

yes, only my drivers door unlocks after the first push.

maybe i wasnt clear though. i am referring to actually being in the car, after driving, turning off the engine. once i open my driver side door, (that is pull the lever), sometimes only my door unlocks, and sometimes all the doors unlock

Nothing happens when I turn off the engine, the MM screen closes when I pull the keys out (not when the door opens), and all the doors unlock when i open the drivers door.

does the car make a bonging noise when the door is open? (I'm just wondering for summer washing/detailing when you want to hear the radio )

if the key is in the ignition and not to the off position only the driver door will unlock. all door will unlock when the key is out of the ignition or when in the off position.

edit: just tried it for you. all doors only unlock when key is out of ignition. when key is in the ignition even at off position it only unlocks the driver door when you pull the handle.
