Hello Eric, I also have a 220CDI & have 14,000 km on it. I changed the oil & filter early eg at 5000 km just in case of any excess build up of particles due to the wearing in process. Originally Posted by ericwu

I drove without heavy acceleration , changed the speed regularly & down shifted early to prevent any engine labouring for the first 1000 or so Km.
I carry a clean cloth in a plastic bag in the boot to wipe any dust / dirt from the fuel bowzer nozzle when refueling. You would be amazed at how dirty the cloth becomes. Dust & fuel pump/ injectors don't mix.
I try to avoid drawing in dust into the air cleaner eg don't travel too close behind trucks & decellerate when passing vehicles on a dusty road.
You have a great vehicle there. Hope you travel many trouble free & enjoyable miles .
