Very disappointed

I bought my wife a c300 4matic sport 2 months ago, just because she wanted it.

Putting it politely, this car sucks. The computer module that controls the engine keeps on failing. The build quality and driving experience don't even come close to matching my BMW. I admit, BMW's also have some reliability issues but at least they give you a rewarding driving experience. I feel I've just wasted my money.

Even the loaner has been flimsy.

I should have listened to all the

Electronic issues happens to all car. My wifes old X5 died in the garage and won't start and had to be flatbed to the dealer. Unloaded at the dealer and the car works fine.

Hate to hear you are unhappy with the car. There are lemons out there unfortunately.

BTW, "I should have listen to all the" All the ?

go after the dealer for another one if it is giving that kinda of trouble and they cannot fix it. If they will not go for it, go directly to MBZ North America and complain and ask them for another car.

There is a reason why everyone not buying a BMW and for everyone not buying a Merc. They both have different drive feels.

I drive both since i got the C and my bro got the 3. I dont like 3 bumpy and noisy ride and he does not like my C soft comfy ride. Both have different attributes.

This does not mean one is better than the other.

Not to mention his car stays in garage most of time, even though its brand new and my car visited the garage only for service A.

So if your car is failing its just a bad luck. Chase it up firmly with the dealer.

If this particular C300 really is giving you that much problem...fax a copy of all the service records to MBUSA and file a formal complain then ask MBUSA and your dealership to come up with a fair solution for all your trouble...

That's a very unfair post.

I have both a BMW E60 523, and a Mercedes W204 C180.

I'm enjoying boths cars tremondously, and sometimes have great difficulties deciding which car to drive!

The W204 is definitely a good car!

The funny thing is this is for his wife and SHE is the one who wants it. How about asking your wife for her opinion. Maybe just maybe she LOVES the ride and you don't

Then again, maybe Ron is right in that this is a TROLL causing trouble in our peaceful forum

Thumbs down WOW

Children, Children:

Pay no never mind. You're not the ones belly acking.

If they really hurt, we'll help them solve the problem. If it is a troll, they know what they can do with their BMs.

To the instigators, I think your plot just went "sauber".

Cheers, JV

Lemon cars exist.. With Alfa, BMW, MB, VW, Audi, ... And it sucks when you get one. You should really put lots of pressure on the dealer from where you got it, no way that this car was 'fine' before the sale, they must've known.

We all love our W204's and I think it drives better than a E90. So don't come up here and say that they suck, because we all know and love our W204's.

UPDATE

My MB dealership in Little Rock, AR, called back and they sent me a loaner, actually delivered it to my house themselves even though I live in a different city. They also said that they would deliver my car to my house once it is repaired.

That is first class service. Worthy of MB name.

Actually, even BMW never did this for me when I had an issue with my 535i.

You know, I think he was frustrated and just blew up. Now that he is getting service and results, he is calming down.

LOL!

I probably should have resisted posting on this forum yesterday. But I was not too happy.

Quick question, you currently drive a flimsy loaner, are they sending you another loaner?
