She's Complete! LOTS of Pics (sorry)
Well, I think that she is finally modded to my liking.
So far, here's what I've done:
Clear turn bulbs @ all corners
Threw on my old E-Class wheels to fill in the wheel wells (came out surprisingly well to be honest)
Originally painted the OEM grille, but that chipped way too soon and too severely so spent the money on a C63 rep (no fitment issues)
Purchased and installed a rep Brabus CF 3 piece spoiler from JL-Motoring
Last but not least, tried replacing stock halogen bulbs with 6000k halogens and that didn't do anything, so bought an hid kit and am really happy with the results. Now, that is not to say that the quality is anywhere close to the Bi-Xenons w/active curve illum. that I had on my E, BUT, the increase in depth and width of light is more than worth the money paid (best added-value mod award. ) Only real difference between the oem hid is consistency of illumination of the road ahead and that crisp line formed by the lens.
Best,
Chris

Yeah, it's in my garage. I live in dt Chicago.
There is an S65 parked on the floor below me that (God knows I'm not lying) has not moved since July 17th of last year when I first moved in.
Many offers for purchase have been written in the dust that has settled on the car over time.... Although, pisses me off - what a disgrace
I wish I knew who's it was, I would drive it for them 3x a month free of charge just to keep the seals lubed up

I would like to get an aftermarket hid kit myself but was worried about there might be lapse in the light coverage b/c the halogen housing may not reflect all the light correctly..

Did you see your guy putting it on? Did he cover your speakers grills?

Hey Chris, can you explain more about what you see between oem hid and your aftermarket hid?? What you mean by consistency of illumination of the road and crisp line??

WWMIndy,
How do you like that CF 3 Piece Brabus Spoiler? I got a Palladium Silver color C300 Sport... not sure if it will look good. If I get that spoiler, do you think I need to get a CF front lip too to match it up?

I love it it looks great - however, i think the bigger wheels help, and I'm with you, might need to do a front lip (just scared about clearance as the c is much lower than my old e)

WWMIndy,
I know it is a stupid question but did you see the guys installing tints for your car? Did he cover your doors and rear deck speakers grills?
I had mine done yesterday and he sprayed so much water/soap onto my windows that I was concerned about my speakers but he told me not to worry and nothing will happen.

Thanks guys!
Nope, no need to worry about your speakers...standard procedure for applying tint - unless he poured a bucket of water on your stuff no need for nightmares tonight!
