Having issues removing Side marker

I got the wheel well back....have the bulb out..but I cant seem to see how to remove the actual side marker (orange) light cover.

I can see a gray/silver clip looking thing..but do not know what direction to push it..if there is more than one etc.

Can anyone post help. I read DIY on the clear lense change...does not actually state how to remove the lense.

Any help would be great. Thank you

just push the grey clip thing upwards and it should pop out. Fairly easy.

but some cars (like mine) also have a little screw on the top corner that you need to unscrew. It's a star shaped screw and you'll need some kind of angled screw driver because normal screwdrivers wont fit in there.

I'll try to take a picture in a bit so u'll know what Im talking about.

well, since I'm bored, I took a pic anyway. Here you go:

My correction, the clip is on top so just push down as the arrow shows. Then mine has a screw where the red circle is. Its a star shaped one that looks something like this

Thanks! Thats the only tab I see, I tried pushing it down a few times.(down then push out) but it wasnt doing much so I stopped so I did not break something.

There is no screw in mine..but I do see the tab...I guess I was not pushing down hard enough? Apparently I baby things too much....you can tell I do not work on cars..but I did successfully install a brabus spoiler! (with help from the forum of course)

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
My markers came with everything to completely replace the assembly. If yours did, don't worry about breaking anything. Or use the clear set to practice before removing from the car.

It is really sexy..believe it or not I put on the middle part...then I was like omg I love it like that.. LOL so I have both sides still available to add later. I actually like it with just the middle. Makes my car look wide from the rear, especially when running 265/30/19 wheels.

I cant. I am using the original markers. I am going to sand them down...paint it with my 755 steel grey paint...and clear coat..re-install.

So I need to use the original part.

so you got the side markers removed yet? The black part should pop right out as long as you push the tab far enough. no pushing or pulling needed.

happen to have pics of your 1 piece brabus spoiler? =]
