Another X-Pipe problem.. :(
I got my X-pipes and now I feel that I have lost power, mostly the torque. it's not significant, but its enough for me to feel a difference in power and i HATE it. My car doesn't have as much "push" as it did before. On the other hand, I feel like my car is a Bit, not a lot, but very little faster on the higher revv range but I like torque over HP because you feel the torque more. Responses please and how I can fix this so I can have the X-pipes AND don't lose power OR torque. ALSO way to gains both if possible, mostly torque
is the difference very significant? is it possible that it's just psychological? Maybe you've got used comparing the old volume to the power but because its louder now, it sounds like its doing more work to produce the same kinda power, when its really at a lower rev?

Um no, no X or H will help increase HP, what you need for HP is to remove the cats. its the only way to increase HP thru the exhaust.

you need to drive for a while for the ecu to recognize the difference in flow. I don't feel any loss in low-end torque (if any they're insignificant), but the high end breathing is sure heck of a lot better than stock. also consider how this engine/tranny is geared up I much rather have high end power.

FrankW you were correct... my friend also told me that my ECU would recognize the difference and would adjust other specs such as how much air the car would take in and so on.... its hardly a difference now and at the high RPM's...
