Sometimes the CEL resets itself & sometimes it doesn't - This little scanner will cancel the CEL as well.

My engine light just came on today. I checked the gas cap, it's tight so I have a feeling it might be the O2 sensor. I'm still covered under warranty but only for a few more months! Good thing this happened now. Is the O2 sensor a common problem for the check engine light to come on? Any other possibilities for the yellow check engine light to come on? My car runs totally fine and if it wasn't for the light, I never would have guessed that there would be an issue with the car.

I have had the engine light come on in my car twice and both times it was the crankshaft sensor. The car was hard to start and would just about stall out while driving. Had to drive it real slow to the Dealer the first time. The second time I had it towed.
