orange light in the door handle, at your foot and central mirror. One of the few features I really enjoy.

You mean this:

I have been thinking if there is a way to change those lights... but I guess it matches the colour of the rest of the switchgear.

The Audi B6 had red LEDs on the overhead. And the Acura TL had blue LEDs. The W204 has amber bulbs (not sure if they are LEDs). So maybe the next car will have green LEDs.

Another former TL owner? Nice.

I like the amber lights...certainly the most luxurious look. What color does BMW use?

lol, I posted this thread 3 times in other forums and here as well, this is the first one to get answers and pictures!

WOW! I like the light Now I want the car even more :P

It's really classy/ luxurious looking (well, not the actual light strip, but when it creates ambiance at night )

Do the rear door handles do this as well? That would be awesome

Never really saw the bulbs, but by the size of the hole in the mirror, I guessed it was a led. Just a guess. Anyway, amber light anyway!

You actually can't see the light strip unless you bend over and look for it under the housing.

That's what I meant , when you just see it reflected on the inside of the doorhandle

I've had my car for months and never noticed this.

Just looked and sure enough, they're there.
