X-PIPE on C300. ONCE FOR ALL!!(everyone w/x-pipe read it)
OK, I have searched so many that I read all of x-pipe for C300 and C350. Also looked at the ALL C300 and C350 x-piped YOUTUBE videos.
Here is my thought.
Angeloxnet(C300) sounded best in my opinion.(very cool sound and little raspy but stable.
Mattewgonzales(c300) on Youtube sounded good also from outside.
I like that they both have cool sound but not unstable raspy sound(sounded close to C63 I think)
Nbturbos car was my least favorite from outside but from inside, the sound was great(didn't hear much different compared to stock, if the METAL HITTING SOUNG between 0:02 and 0:03 is not caused by x-pipe)
Do angeloxnet and Mattewgonzales have Megnaflow x-pipe?
and if you do and this Question is for everyone in forum, Megnaflow's x-pipe is short, so is it better to place x-pipe closer to front or toward back?
and what would be the difference in theory?
With all this thread about x-pipe, I decided to do get x-pipe (likely from Megnaflow).
And one more question. Does x-pipe in ANY ways messup car? meaning decrease the life of car, or impact other parts of the car to gone bad?
*Reason Y asking is i had G35 before and did some mod but car seems like gets weaker(older) quicker and changed engine sound crap like I have been driving for 10 years(although it was 3 years old). So, now I am trying to be careful about modding cars parts from factory setting. But I just love the roar sound(long as it can only heard from outside).

Thank you for the compliments on my video (Matthewdgonzales). My friend with the SL63 said that my X-Pipe sounds more like a deep G35. When you stand in a free rev, the rasp sounds more prominent. When you are driving and you get on the gas its got that sporty G35 (Sport option manual with the 19"s) sound. (yes the G35 manual sounds different/better)

yea i had an x-pipe on my car for a while now, 1 of the 1st mods i did.. i cant remember the name of the site.. it was like brendel or bendel.. idk.. but umm yea its not bad.. at idle sounds the same.. when u 1st start the car cold it has a deeper raspy sound.. but once it warms up i only get that sound when i really step on it.. basically i only hear a diference between 3-5,000 rpms.. and as performance people claim they lost power/acceleration.. idk i cant tell.. not like our cars are rockets anyway soo i wouldnt worry bout that.. i payed like 60 for the pipe and 100 to put it on.. oo wait i think it was like mendelpipe.com somethin like that

I ordered the Magnaflow X pipe But when i took it to the local exhaust shop, the 2.25" is not long enough to connect the pipes after having the resonator removed. The guy said i need special piping, possibly the whole exhaust system. How did you people with X mod solve that problem? Any information on the matter would be greatly appreciated?

I understand that but i saw my self, the x pipe is not as long as the resonator and difference is a few inches. After having the resonator removed, how would i make up for the lost lengths to connect both ends of the pipes with the x pipe ?

i took off my resonator and secondary cats, replaced it with xpipe. sounds better
as told, you get raspy sound when its cold even if its in idle
but the difference is you can already hear the difference between 2-5,000 rpm if you take off your cats too. + the good thing is it didnt sound as bad in the inside so you can still feel comfortable

i know this is an old thread, but hopefully someone can help me here
I'm ordered a new diffuser, and quad tips, and was thinking about getting an pipe put in at the same time when i get everything welded,
so what would you guys suggest for a 2009 c300 sport

Search my name Into forums there's a link for the magnaflow x-pipe for somewhere in the range of 60-70$ take it to a shop and they should charge between 30-50$. I live in Las Vegas so it was around the range of 50$ should be cheaper everywhere else. Sound is amazing, I have a YouTube video if you'd like to hear idle noise and take off noise. Doesn't void warranty, no extra piping needed, no damage to exhaust, no drone, and perfect noise.
