I am interested in getting one.
But what is the difference between an amg bumper and a non-amg one? Do you actually mean sport model and luxury model? I think we only got C63 AMG here, not such things as C300 AMG OR C350 AMG.

Yes, they mean the sport and luxury. The reason it is so often referred to as the AMG body molding is because it was advertised as so for the W203 and other models in that time period.

What happens is that MBZ will "refresh" the design half way through the model life. In the past, that usually meant that the amg body kit would make its way onto some of the lesser models as well.

However, I would be surprised to see them put the new AMG body kits on the lesser models today because of how insanely aggressive they look now. But hey, let's not stop hoping!

Yeah, $600-800+ doesn't sound so bad to me for a pair of LED DRL's when including installation.

Why? Because I know what it feels like to pay $350+ USD to fix a sport model fog lamp and have that same ****ing piece break the next morning.... GOD it still pisses me off.

Not only that, the best the dealer offers is to fix it for $157 (parts only) bringing the total cost of fixing ONE DAMN FOG LAMP TO OVER $500 USD!! GOD DAMNIT

Exactly right. My fog light is cracked now. And I just dont wanna fix it again! I need to pay 350 to get another fog light with the risk that it would crack in the near future. I think I might just go for the set this time.
I saw a thread a while ago referring that there is a bodyshop here in California has the LED set for sale. If I remember right, the bodyshop is DCTMS. But that thread ended up with nothing as I didn't see any update on it any more.

saw new 2011 c at dealership on monday with led fogs...looked goofy to me. it was a straight strip not the l-shape like the e class. i didnt like it...

On contrary, I like the straight line one not some tetris block look alike on the E class

i think all leds look kinda cheapo like xmas lights...hoping its a fad and wont last. the led tails look ok on some cars.

Just got a 2011. Agreed, I don't like the ones on the E class at all. But for me, the LED's definantely make the car. Now they just need to get rid of the eybrow...
