Advantgarde Owner , please help
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/AUDI-CHROME-S...3A1%7C294%3A50
I have a classic model that doesn't come with the chrome strip. I want to buy this to see if i could achieve the same results and if it works, probably a DIY writeup to follow.
What i would liek to find out from you is the width of our standard strip? i could probably work out the length myself by estimate.
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Jon

that would be nice if someone part it off, or otherwise anyone could advice me the parts number? Surely ebay would be my last resort, i do want to know the width though just in case.

Those strips are easy to fit but they are expensive! That sounds too expensive.

Anyway i went to the shopping center and measured one in the car lot.
it is 12mm width, so i ordered a 13mm one and see how it turn out. At the end it only cost me AUD50.00 worlth a try IMO.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
Try this:
mrjsw, the stuff you linked looks like cheap junk you can get at a discount auto parts store. Tell me sir, do have those in your part of the world?
I am well aware that there are members from all over the world on this forum and benzworld. Most of the PM communications I have are with Canadians and Australians.
