i searched around, does anyone have a clear cut answer to how to remap the Comand from Euro to US or from US to Euro?? either way is fine because the process should be the same.

what is needed to get power to the 7in screen??? i got the HU installed and it works great, besides it being in german...now this screen, ive tried following that fkin diagram, cuttin wires and all, and that did not work...
i ordered the screen wiring harness, the aps wiring harness and the antenna adaptor cable today, should have the parts by next week....is that all i will need to get the screen to power up???? thx

Better to use original diagrams and figure out the wiring difference yourself.

Which diagram are you referring to? The one that many of us told is wrong (we asked the member to remove or fix the diagram but that did not happen). From this thread I did not find any diagrams, I may have missed it though.

hay diesel, yeah i followed the incorrect one, so i just decided to order A2045405706 Screen wiring harness,A2045409706 APS wiring harness,and A2118200088 Antenna adapter cable....i have the HU installed and it works, besides it being in german, but with these parts im just hoping to get the screen to power on and open... ;(
im going to try to follow vics steps, i wish the pics where still up...but to get this right, i need to get to the SAM and add the 2 black and white cables to the can hub??? then remove the red/blue line and replace with wire from retrofit harness???

So has anyone in the U.S. successfully completed the COMAND APS retrofit all the way through IC coding and SRC? I am worried that I will get this completed and not be able to get the coding done.

You can change from NTSC to PAL video in the COMAND....maybe some MM screens are PAL vs NTSC...or this may be just for video inputs.
Also, you can change region in COMAND engineering mode.
I have done 2 retrofits, yet never had the cars coded and all worked great other then no display in Instrument cluster

Ntg4 display not working
I managed to install the comand, thanks vic.
Is it normal that the navigation does not remember your location after you shut it down? It uses a location that you have shut it down at some point and then sometimes it resets itself to a new location...
Also every time you open a door the screen goes black and restarts?

I have tried to install the NTG4 and I used Bokx's diagram as my display was not working or opening up. Bokx's wiring Diagram did not work and the display still does not open or power up. I wanted to know if this display adapter from kabel daviko will work has any one else tried this? http://www.kabeldaviko.de/C-Classes/...ayadapter.html
Or do I need the wiring harness retrofitting A2045409706 cable? The head unit is working fine, the radio and CD works and everything else on the head unit works only the display does not open or power up. also when I open the doors it switches off and turns back on after a while. I bought this from ebay it came from Latvia, can anything be faulty? Please advise.

I got trouble with the new system. I upgraded my 5'' monitor to 7'' and the command system.
After the installtion, there is no sound.
Anybody knows something about that?
