if you had a C300 or C350 would you still buy a C63 ?

No,
Already bought a B170 also, and very happy with combination.
But for where I live the following would frustrate me terrably over time:
1-Speedcops in busches, me already resticted by C350.
2-Rear tyres, the 350 hardly makes 15K.
3-Feul consumption.
If it was a beautifull 2 door, I would have considred, but the halfbread CLC is just too ugly shape.I thought, seeing it maybe the last of V8's they might have had a Aston type shape to fit engine with much higher resale value. This may not be a problem in US.
Those who bought it, sure a great car for them.

Even though it is an amazing car in many ways, I would have to pass on the C63. For my money, if I were to spend that much, I would likely get a year or two old Aston Martin Vantage.

Yes - if I lived in Germany or another jurisdiction with unlimited speed ability.
In Canada I rarely go over 35 mph and burn about a tank / month so 65 hp would be good enough > when I'm in Germany I use an E500 or 993.

E350
Good luck! I've only seen 1 CPO W204 2008 C63 so far, with 12K miles on it, and it was going for ONLY $4K less than its sticker price a year ago ($68,000+ instead of $72,210). It sold the day after it was put out... go figure!

EDIT: And IMO, no, I wouldn't spend the money on a C63... I'd rather get an E350 or E550 for about the same amount of money (depending on how much your C63 budget is).

C63 is the Lamborghini 4 doors, less of 12 in 1/4 miles (with computer and headers) a family car, same engine of the Black series CLK, is a dream car, but I need one or two years more to find a used one. Here I have to pay more than $90K with performance package, for a used one with 10k miles in good conditions is $79K, in one year or two should be in the $50K

I would buy the E63. That car had amazing performance and comfort/luxury. Extremely well-balanced and fun to drive. I was extremely disappointed after driving the C63

All around the E63 is a more balanced vehicle. If you just want a brutal hard a$$ sports car, the C63 is more fitting. I would take either one...

08' C350, Toyota Tundra
I was actually debating on buying a C63 or a C350 which is a ridicolous comparison. But since the real estate market flopped I sold my supercharged M3 bought a C350 which I got a sick deal on because my cousin works for Benz of Manhattan and put a downpayment for a condo on the water. Now I am moving out of my old folks home to be on my own....Could of bought a C63 but sacrificed it for the place, it all depends on your situation. But I can't take how slow this thing is LOL it kills me everyday!!!!!!! Next I am getting a 6 speed M5 or E63.

i am really debating trading my 07 e550 in for a new c63.. (losing about 50k CAD on my e550) and probably have to add another 40k CAD to finish the trade.
please talk me out of it!!

tchu - that's a very nice E550! That's pure sport elegance understated in only the way MB can achieve with your personal touch.
C63 exists only to compete with M3 segment and capture this audience with the aim to keep them for E, E AMG, and S Classes as they are able to afford or justify more car.
Otherwise C63 is great for storming the autobahn daily on a corp gas acct and don't want the weight of E63, S AMGs, nor need the rear passenger room, and must have the MB brand.
On the street few will recognize the difference between C63 and regular C unless they are MB aficionados or have looked at them (1% of the population).

First of all you can't compare a C300/C350 to a C63. A c300/c350 is a nice little quick/ great handling/ compact sport sedan. A c63 is in the words of Jeremy Clarkson is "an axe murderer with headlights." All cars have there ups and downs. A c300 is a nice car but lacks power. A c350 is nice but its is alot more than a c300 and doesnt even have 4 wheel drive. A c63 is nice car but it looks like and ordinary c and gas mileage is terrible.
It all depends on what you want. if all you care for is looks and need a for wheel drive get the c300 sport. If you want the look plus the kick get the c350. If you want a saturn five rocket get the c63. I have test driven all three. This might get some angry but here it goes the c300 beautiful car if i wanted a 4 wheel drive car i would pick that any day over a bmw 3 series, but the damn thing is slow. The c350 is a nice step up from the c300 and handling/feel/power/ and responsiveness is very different, I would take this car any day over the 335i girl car...lol. And now the c63... Its a weapons grade car and it needs to be to contain the fury under the bonnet. I'm sorry words really can't describe this car, you have to drive it for yourself. The only thing I'll say is that I thought it was gonna be like the M3 but its in a completely different league. I'm not saying that the new M3 is a bad car but its no c63.

E550 vs. C63
Firstly, that is one really really nice E550 4matic! You are very lucky that you are able to afford and modify such a car.
For what reason would you want to buy a C63 over it? I know the C63 is badass and i'd love one but considering you live in Canada i'd personally keep the E550 - love that 4matic. It's a 2007 aswell so its practically new!

E350
Well, different vehicles suit different people.
IMO, the C63 is built for speed... period. Match a C63 up to any other car within its price range, and you'll be hard-pressed to find any that beats its driving performance.
But IMO, compared to the 2009 E550, that's about all it has. The E550 is a larger car (beats it in interior space/trunk size), the inside materials are more "quality" and less cheap plastics are used (for example, compare the AC switches/dials), both the inside AND outside of the E550 is more elegant and luxurious yet sporty (the AMG 321 Sport Package is a free add-on), the MSRP for a fully decked out E550 can be a bit higher than the C63 but can be negotiated significantly lower (since 2009 is the last year for W211, and MB does NOT discount brand new AMG cars at all from what I've been told... and used AMG cars are discounted very little), the V8 engine in the E550 definitely has more than enough power for the vast majority of drivers IMO AND it gets better gas mileage than the C63, and your insurance cost will be lower with an E550 (and not to mention your gasoline costs)!
Plus, since OP already has a C-Class... IMO it makes more sense to upgrade to an E-Class where there are many improvements, instead of a C63 where only speed/driving performance is improved (for roughly the same price as an E550).
