front bumper

Hey guys

just wondering if anyone has notice their front bumper, where some parts feel smooth to touch and others rough?

Mine really quiet rough near the wheel arches, there has even some white spots.

Whether this means i need to clay bar the car or get it detailed.

Its defintely smooth along the front, but rough around others. just seems like the paint or clear coat is just done evenly

Maybe the paint in the area was a little thin? OP didn't mention what colour their vehicle is.

The car is black, yeah it might be time for clay polish.

Any recommendations of brand of clay bar?

Besides your run of the mill Mequiars and Mothers brands, there are ones out there that's also very expensive. It depends what you are using for and budget though. Mother's go for about 18-20 at your local store that sells car products while you usually find the higher end stuff at car parts specialty store. I would avoid using the aggressive ones since that is normally just as if not more abrasive than 4000~ grit sandpaper.
