Actually in the US one only needs a credit card:
http://www.startekinfo.com/StarTek/subscribe.jsp

Quite odd actually that so few use this service.

WIS is not available for individuals in Europe but in practise for all businesses.

Saw those pics of your wagon, thanks. Somebody suggested you would be able to help me with the procedure for removal of the black plastic covers on the fogs on the Classic.

Yes they are available but they are not cheap, just go to any MB dealer parts department.

^That is just a parts catalog. I have access to that, although it helps in some DIYs, it is no substitute for WIS.

I tried subscribing to WIS, but couldn't.

ALLDATAdiy.com actually pulls information from WIS and puts it in the product. Same data, and very user friendly. It is not organized by chassis/engine number but by year make and model. The chassis and engine numbers are still available though.

How do you know it isn't WIS if you were not able to subscribe to it?

I didn't check how much one needs to browse and myself I anyway have to use another site but if you were not able to subscribe to WIS, it does not mean it does not exist.

EPC is there but that neither means WIS would not be there.

What about the Rear Bumper? How do you remove it and where are the bolts that holds it?

I need to level my rear Bumper. When the trunk is close, i can see a small gap on the right side between the edge of the trunk lid and the top part of the bumper.

Thanks!
