2009 C300 Quick questions - Canada
Hello,
I just purchased my first MB - the C300. The car was purchased in canada and it came with the premium package which includes the H/K Logic7 system with a 6-disc mp3/cd changer. The vehicle does not have command therefore no Multimedia Interface and associated components.
I have done a lot of reading but I am confused about few items
1) Is the logic7 system which is included with this package the same 450watt 11 or 12 speaker system or is it some water down version of the H/K system? I can't seem to get any details from the MB Canada website. I imagine that i can't play DVD-A discs on it or can I?
2) Is the UMI system compatible with the logic7 or is it only compatible with the audio 20?
3) will the ipod kit from MB work with the iphone3G? - i'm guessing no from what i have read but if some could confirm that would be great.

That's what I was thinking. I guess DVD-audio disc's are out. As long as the H/K logic7 sounds good I'll be happy. I would have gotten the MM but unfortunately it wasn't an option in my case. Looks like I'll be adding the UMI soon.

Just to reiterate my C300 is coming with the premium package which includes the H/K logic7 but not COMMAND and MM. My original question was is this the same system in terms of speakers and amps as the logic7 with COMMAND and MM?
