i see this on the listings tho

"Application:
Conforms to regulation ECE R37 & US DOT approved for use worldwide on roads in Europe, USA, Canada etc. It is suitable for all cars fitted with Halogen bulbs and aimed at giving extra performance and safety in bad weather conditions."

are you sure they are illegal?
I just did some more reading. They don't have an certain stamp on the bulbs which means that they are illegal. Philips Blue Visions (4000K) are the only legal set that are available for Xenon matching (in the UK at least). One of the threads I read said that they were not legal in the USA & UK, but can't find it.

The pack itself should confirm that they are illegal for road use. In any case, they are not blue so you shouldn't get pulled over for them. The DVs definately have a blue tint to them so avoid that if you want to be cautious.

I hope that helps.

Indicators are meant to flash yellow, so just stealth the bulb so it looks like a normal bulb but then flashes the right colour. AZN_300 has gone over this procedure many times. I think the same applies for the side markers.

I think the CV bulbs are more expensive in the UK otherwise I would have helped you out. I'll be buying my pair from ebay since I can't get them in stores.

I just ordered a pair of CVs from here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=300322848185

They may or may not work out cheaper than the ones you've found, depending on delivery costs. Also the ones you've ordred come with a pair of 'free' parker lights(?) so if you feel you need them I'd go with your link. Have fun. I'll post pictures of mine fitted when I get the bulbs and also when I get the car (2 weeks left!). Enjoy.

The pictures look great. The colour rating is 5500K though, and I wanted something closer to the stock Xenons at 4300K with is what these CVs are meant to be. They are only £30 so if I need to change them later on it hasn't killed my wallet. Also the CVs are meant to be pretty durable. Fingers crossed! =)

What bulb matches 6000k HIDs?
I want to put the HIDs in my low beams and halogen bulbs in fogs and high beams.
SilverStar Ultras? Luminics Titanium White?
CrystalVisons? DiamondVisions?
You just name it and I'll look into it.
Or you can put a little info on it with the post.

Do you have stock xeons? can you please take some pictures of your fogs + your xeons on for me?
I'm about to go crazy deciding which one to put. I dont want it to look "too blue" but I don't want it to look too yellow..

Thanks,
patrick

Do you have a picture of it front on and from say like a 3/4 view? can't really see much of the fog like this.. my friend has crystal visions on his GTI but they do look a bit yellow compared to his xeons.. but they def look MUCH more white than our fogs..
