Hey, has anybody experienced a high whistling noise on the c300 when traveling at around 50mph? Some think it's the air hoses, valves, or transmission. Any ideas??

you need to give more info...what model of c300 do you have? where is the noise coming from?? side?? front?? rear?? vent??

c300 luxury 2009. the noise seems to be coming from the center dash and console, and only when i get closer to 50 mph. once i pass 50, it dims down and is barely audible, but still there. the service tech drove it, but didn't notice anything until i took him for a spin this morning and it was very loud - "annoying" is how he classified it. it sounds like a high-pitched frequency coming from the radio, but service tech ruled that out. he thinks it's something from the transmission console?

I did see that thread, which i printed out and gave to the service tech.still left to see if one of those solutions works.thanks for finding the info, very much appreciated!
