Changing Grill Choices

Hey everyone, I'm planning to change my grill in some way. Maybe the following poll can help me decide.

Also, by the way,
this is what I have in mind:
1. I am concerned about chipping that is why I put the vinyl choice.
2. Having the Lux grill painted would provide the ability to have two grilles (Interchangeability)
3. I heard and have seen the C63 Styled Grill looks/is kind of cheap looking. ( I cant really confirm that bc I have Never seen it in person)

Please by all means, feel free to Post Pics and comment, especially owners of black w204 who have done( or plan to do) this.

Thanks a lot

Many people have said that painted grills chip easily...especially if you do a fair amount of highway driving. That's why I just went ahead and bought a C63 grill off EBay. If I was going to mod the stock grill it would be with the vinyl strips. Ask AZN where he got his...i think they are pre-cut

It would be awesome if precut vinyl grill inserts existed. Unfortunately, I dont think they do lol.

They do. My vinyl guy had a set measured out for me. Contact John at JSDesign (http://www.jsdesignfactory.com/).

Any way you decide it will look good but it's always good to have a spare grill ready to be install.

C350 Elegance
Exclamation

The latest is the grille painted the color of the car.

As a matter of fact, color matching for the exterior and interior trim is offered at a tremendous add on by a German luxury car manufacturer.

Not really that new. Was already done last year by several. In my opinion, generally looks ugly, except for the stock on silver and black on black

The black lux grille and the black / chrome sports grilles both look really good.

I think I read in another thread that people who used the vinyl still had to spray paint the circular portion around the star as well as the sides. I highly doubt you'll get any chipping to those areas (from rocks, etc. kicking up from the road)

Truly Ugly Grill

How about ....

We borrow a bit ...

Tucker Torpedo ... the center eye. Forget about those "cornering" fog lights, install a real turning 3rd eye. Just consider how much more light you can throw out when you switch on the high beams.

Cadillac ... egg crate grill. 'Natch. It just "improves things" ... sure.

Brush Bar ... doubles as a push bar, shove those BMWs out of the way!

Well, it does change the appearance somewhat
