Thumbs up Yet another black grill

Had the grill painted and baked at the local VW garage and fitted it today. I like it, but that top clip-on thing seems to be so visible now but I checked fitment and it seems to be correct

I'm not sure what I'm looking for with the clip on thing - it looks good. Maybe you're being a bit paranoid?

Yes, I am probably paranoid. It's the black unpainted plastic strip right under the "nose" of the bonnet/hood just above the highest painted part of the grill. We all want perfection and it's just a tad too visible for my taste. Might have to adjust that

You should colorcode your grill to the antracite in your (super sexy!) wheels. I have visions about it looking great. I'm

Going to fiddle a bit more with that top plastic. I'll report back when I probably break it

I command you to leave it alone! Seriously I don't see it but maybe because I can't see it in real. 1-2 more weeks before I get my car finally. *sighs*

Haha, good luck man, Don't do any damage!

Welcome to the club, I saw some CLC.s at work the other day and was amazed how great looking the stock grille on them looked, they were flat anthrazite gray (dark titanium gray) looked so nice that I was thinking about repainting mine again..

Our CLC200 CDI grill is black Yes I think the stock black grill is nice wish they made it like that for the C. Really afraid of stone chips.
