Good trade?

Well I have thinked a long time what car to to buy next sell my current one.
And that time is coming before end of this year.

So what you guys think...
BMW E60 M5

My other choices were Audi S5 and 335Ci / 335CD, but I think im gonna go with The M5.

I also got one question about 5-series navi. Do you quys know is it like a same than in our c's (map and the point what shows you where you are goes smoothly or that old style what goes like tok-tok-tok-tok-tok-tok)?

thanks... :p

Hands down would have to go with the S5. It may be a bit slower but the interior and exterior styling is far superior...not to mention much cheaper.

I think styling is a matter of personal taste. I really do like the looks of an S5 Audi, but I dislike the rear exhaust setup. Compared to a normal S-line it seems like they only added another two exhaust tips. Does not look all that exciting, really.

In addition, the price gap considering the miles on the M5 is only 3k Euro, so that shouldn't be too much of a factor.

I think the white M5 looks great. Go for the M5.

Don't go 5 series. First of all, I don't like it. Second, it's at the end of it's life cycle and is due for a new look in the next two years or so. The last life cycle was 8 years I think, and the new 5 series look came out in 2003, giving it till about 2011 until they redo it, and your car has an old look... just sayin'

You are comparing apples and peaches the 5 and the 3 series are totally deferent type of cars; compare the M5 with the E63. The M5 is a nice choice so the S5.

Audi S5 -- you can still get the V8 (whereas the S4 will get you a TFSI V6). Plus much more beautifully styled inside and out.

BMW M5 -- last of the V10's... RWD.

Tough call.

I totaly agree that S5 is very beatifully styled inside and out. But I have dreamed about M5 since I was little kid

And not to mention that it is V10 and it's R8 and gallardo killer

I would take the M5 over the Audi any day of the week. Unless it was an R8!

Audi S5 - Nice to see on the road bc they are not too common. There's a little less power, but it's in a coupe.

BMW M5- There's a new 5 and 7 series to be released very soon. The stock M5 sounds like and is a beast.

Also coupe vs sedan...consider those pros and cons...
how many passengers will you be driving with?

Everyone has his or her priorities. It is your decision.
Best of both worlds= C63 lol

I was going to write don't downgrade from a MB to an Audi or BM because I thought you had a w204, as this thread intends to be. Anyway I'll follow with my thought, buy a Porsche Panamera (2 or 4 doors) or 911, and you'll have new looks, prestige, great service, and a roar on the road. I'm a Mercedes guy (by likings, not work), I would not sound impartial saying Audi has many failures, and BM dealers' service sucks.

Whatever you choose, hope you enjoy it totally.

Cheers, JV

New 7-series is already in europe I know that it new 5-series will come next year and new M5 year after but if it was 520d sure lots of people would say it's oldmodel but when it's The M5 I think no one has got ***** to say that unless he's driving veyron. And I have already planned that before new M5 come's out I'd sell my M5.

I could drive coupe but sedan is far more practical for me since all my friends are allways in my ridea and backdoors come then handy.

Why are people saying that the new 7 series is COMING OUT.... it has been out in the US for quite some time. I've seen about 5 on the road, I just dont think many people know it's out. But I've seen them out for about half a year I think.

Yeah I saw a couple too, but I wasnt sure if they were dealers just testing them or something.

skip the S5 and go for the RS5 or RS6 which you can get them in Europe unlike us. not talking about the last RS6.

if you're not getting them new then M5 all the way because simply it's a better car then the S5.

if I had choice between M5 and S5, i would go with M5 all the way.

also, if you are planning to sell it soon, M5 will drop less price than S5.
