LOL I guess you get what you pay for. $25 bucks vs $500. Like the OP stated, no harm in trying.

whoever told you clear bra isn't worth it is an idiot. It's probably the best investment you can make for your car.

I'd be slightly worried with $25 clear bras though. It'll probably end up looking like crap with cracking, pealing, and yellowing. Not to mention potentially harmful to your paint if it doesn't allow proper light through for even fading.

Applying 3M clear bra looks easy, but it is quite difficult. You'll need a bottle of mild soapy water to ensure that the 3M doesnt stick immediately so you have time to put it in place as well as a squeegee to remove the water once you have it where you like it. Then you have to worry about air bubbles. Once the adhesive bonds, you can't take it off and try again as the 3M would look like crap, and then you'd have residue to remove. Unless you've done something like this before, I would definitely recommend taking it to a professional for installation as the curves on the car can make it a real pain.

It is definitely worth the investment, I'm bringing mine in this Thursday for a complete hood, fender, mirrors, foglights, and a-pillar coverage.
