Has anyone configured their PALM PRE with the phone sync on their vehicles.

I called the Mercedes 800 number and they advised that although it is possible to sync the Palm Pre it is very difficult and advised me to use another brand of phone like a iphone or s30 Instinct.

I am about to upgrade my phone and would like views from any one that had problems or not.

I'd have to agree. We have had quite a few issues syncing the Palm phones to the new and old bluetooths.

I just bought a Palm Pre 2 weeks ago and I haven't tried the Sync but the hands free communication via bluetooth works great. I know some people were wondering if the pre would recognize the car's bluetooth and vice versa.

I recently bought a c350 and paired me PRE with it. It took a few tries b/c it kept coming back no devices found but just keep at it and it works. You can't import contact to your command however.

I am actually taking back my palm pre today for a couple of reasons. But does anyone know if a blackberry will have the phonebook automatically come up on the screen in my C300?

I didn't like that the phonebook wouldn't come up no the screen..the camera took blurry pictures when close up and didn't have auto focus...and no video recording...I'm gonna hold off until the blackberry tour comes out (next month I hope).
