C63 AMG(sold), 2009 CL550, 2010 S550 Majestic Black, 2010 ML550, 2006 C230, 2009 Venza
That way when a C350 or an M3 rolls up next to me, they'll think they got smoked by a C300.

The reason why there are such negative, detesting responses is because there have been a couple people who have asked similar questions like "Should I put an ///AMG on my C300 or 350?"
The general consensus is badge what your engine is; however, some feel the urge to do differently because they have the Sport "AMG" Package.
C300 versus C350
-P1 is stock with C350
-C300 rims are different than C350 rims
-Rear Spoiler is stock with C350
-Bigger front brakes

Another member mentioned but you seems to know a lot. Could you tell me other differences other than one inch difference in a front disk? (I just got it so I don't know much about it)
Please no offence.
Thanks for your input.[/QUOTE]

Being new to the forum, or at least seeing you have 13 posts, false re-badging is often frowned upon, otherwise forum members are more than happy to answer your questions.

You keep saying that you don't care what other people think you're reasons are for lying (which is exactly what you're doing) about what car you have...but you haven't said what your reason is?
What are you trying to gain by badging your cars as a C350 instead of a C300. Do you think it looks cooler with the 350 on the back? To make people think you have a bigger engine that you actually have? You can say that you aren't lying and trying to impress people all you want...but that's the only reason to make the switch. Car people WILL know that you changed the badges and WILL laugh at you
Sell your Mercedes and go buy a Civic..then you can have all the fun you want with your badges.

I think we should encourage people to badge their car with something it is not. It's a great form of entertainment on the road! We all laugh when we see it don't we? lol
I saw a 5 series this morning with only an M badge on the back. At first it upset my stomach but a few minutes later I was laughing, great humor on the way to the office!

What a waste of money
If you don't want people to know that you only have a 300 and want them perhaps to think it may be a 350 then take off the 300 badge and have nothing.
A friend did it in reverse and put a 420 badge on his tuned 560SEC......that fooled a few .

I personally debadged everything on my C350 4Matic. I don't like too much lettering on the body. I would keep the C63 + AMG badge if I have one of those. It's the badge you should be proud of.

This I like! It would be like watching the return of the cold war. First a couple of guys with 360s, then somebody pops up with a 370, then a couple of 375s from the definitely-competing-but-don't-want-to-offend guys, and so on.
Now THIS WOULD be entertaining.

Hey guys! I'm thinking about badging my C300 with "SL65", "AMG" and slapping the bi-turbo badges on the sides. What do you think? I don't care what other people think (even though I'm asking the internet) LOLOLOL
Seriously... Keep your badges stock, please. They look good. Not to mention only have the badges like AMG, RennTech, Brabus or Kleeman if you actually got tuned by that company (engine mods).
Changing your badge to me is just as tacky as slapping on a bumper sticker that says something stupid like "BEER CONTAINS VITAMIN PEE"
