C350 side marker
Just got a pair of smoked side marker today I followed the instructions but not able to pull out the original one. Do I need any special tool to do that? Could someone post detail instructions on how to do that? Mine is a 09 model btw. Thanks.

Try to look at your new ones. The top of the marker should be able to be pushed out and clicked in and the bottom kind of just hooks in because of the top is "clicked" in. Hope this helps

I finally got those suckers installed, took me over an hour to pull out the old ones. You guys are right, there's a torx screw in it. It was pain in the *** to remove that screw. They look awesome on my white C350 though.

I think you may not have installed/closed the markers correctly..
if you install it right, you should hear a click and the marker & housing will lock in place..no screw is needed..

Mines had the torx screw. The torx screw makes the sidemarkers nice and tight. It also pulls the sidemarker more towards the bumper also for a more flush look.
